    sounds like what I had!!
You probably caught a bad bug. I was sick from Jan31 to March2
I was on everything after 3 ER visits... Tami-flu, Benzonate,Arythromicin,Tylenol,Mucinex the list goes on. 2 teaspoons of honey helped with the cough lots of rest and fluids as well.
It takes a while for you to feel like normal again.
Suck on some cough drops and sleep with a humidifier that also helps. Hope you feel better soon!

I know exactly how you feel, I'm going through the same thing=/
Ive had the horrible dry cough for about a month now and a fever every night (last night it was almost 103) I went to the doctor a couple weeks ago and they said it was chronic bronchitis, so she prescribed me penicillin, and it's all gone and it didn't do jack except make me throw up and give me bad fevers. I also wake up with night sweat very easy and migraines and congested chest. If you find out please let me know, I'm very stressed out and worried myself. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.
Good luck to you, I hope you find out what's wrong.
